3. NEW
It's a great time to "Play Ball!".

and the application forms are available on this website, right now. For Summer In-Town, go to Summer League Info,
scroll to the bottom for a link to a PDF application form. The same link is also available in the Days of Summer section.
So don't miss out on the fun; find your league and sign up today.
5. BBSA's own Ed Malatesta is being inducted into the Burlington High School Hall of Fame this year.
For those who thought they knew Ed, they probably don't know him like this.... go to Bulletin Board.
Congratulations Ed! *Note - Check out his Ambition in life. It's the classiest Earl has ever seen.
6. URGENT & IMPORTANT: READ - To COACHES, MANAGERS, and ANYONE AND EVERYONE
who may be considering ANY involvement with State Ripken, State Babe Ruth and State Sofball:
You MUST have successfully taken and passed the Babe Ruth League, Inc. certification on-line test before any summer leagues start.
You absolutely will not be allowed to participate in any way with any summer league if you have not passed the test.
Go to the Manager/Coach Certification page on this website, and take the test ASAP. You will not participate if you don't take the test.
Are you hearing this?? Do it today. It's easy. But you MUST do it.
(All other persons intending to be involved in the BBSA, as a manager, coach or other staff member of a team
for the Spring of the '09 season must also eventually take the test, so do it before the new year.)
6. Would you like to be a hero to your child? Of course you would. Write an article about one of your
son's/daughter's games and send it to the website. It'll get posted on The Sports Pages, for all to see, including your
own BBSA ballplayer. You'll "be the man!" even if you're a mom. Not sure what to say? Go to The Sports Pages and
check out our own Ron Sanderson's articles on his Ripken Majors Pirates. He puts all those Globe writers to shame.
