THE BURLINGTON BASEBALL / SOFTBALL  ASSOCIATION

is now forming Fall Baseball and Softball Teams

to play in a league run by Extra Innings of Woburn

 BBSA is in the planning stages of forming Fall League teams

·        These teams will play either on Saturday or Sunday, see below (double headers each day).

·        These teams will be playing in an Extra Innings, Woburn League.

·        Cost – TBD – In the area of $85.00+/player.

o   Six (6) weeks double headers = 12 games.

·        Each team is encouraged to have a minimum of 5 or 6 pitches/team.

AVAILABLE LEAGUES –

Softball   

Cost is estimated at $115 per player

Double headers each day - 6 weeks, 12 games

18u

Players must not turn 19 before December 31, 2008.

Games played on Sundays, September 7^th – October 11^th.

14u   

Players must not turn 15 before December 31, 2008.

Games played on Saturdays, September 6  – October 11

12u - Instructional League

Players must not turn 13 before December 31, 2008.

Games played on Saturdays, September 6^th – October 11^th.

      Baseball

          Double headers each day - 6 weeks, 12 games

            All games start at 9:00 AM

18u

Players must be enrolled in grades 10 – 12.

Games played on Sundays (AM), September 7^th – October 12^th

15u

         Players must be eligible to play Babe Ruth League or Senior League in the 2009 season.

         Games played Sundays, September  – October

       13u   

         Players must be entering their 1^st year on the big diamond (Babe Ruth).

         Players who have just finished Ripken League must play in this Division.

         Games played on Saturdays (AM), September 6  – October 11

       12u   

        Players must  be eligible to play on the small Ripken League diamond for the 2009 season.

        Minimum age for this division is 10 years old. Games played either Saturday, September 6  – October 11 ,

        or Sunday, September 7 – October 12

        9u   

       Players must be eligible to play on the small diamond for the 2009 season.

        Minimum age is 8 years old.

Note - There is an individual registration option, thru Extra Innings, of $225.00/player. 

Extra Innings assigns the player to a team.
