  • Babe Ruth Minor League is 13 year old players

The board has elected to have these players participate at the same age regardless of skill level because

is the first time that players are playing on a major league diamond.

That playing with older players at this age could be detrimental to the players self-esteem and safety.

  • Spring Season runs from mid April to the end of June, based on the weather.

The regular season has 14 to 18 games with town and surrounding area town teams.

Games are mostly played Monday thru Friday, but Saturday and Sunday games may be required, because of

          weather or other unforeseeable situations.

There is a registration fee to play in the spring program.

Players are issued uniform caps, shirts and pants.

               - Uniforms must be worn at each game, as issued.

               - Baseballs and umpires are furnished.

               - NO bats or gloves are furnished by program.

  • Minor League players may be called up to play in major league games.

This is to prevent forfeits because of major league players playing high school

                 level baseball, etc.

                        - No minor league player is allowed to pitch at the major league level, for the

protection and safety of the player.

  • Each team has a sponsor who contributes to controlling costs/ fees.

  • Parents are encouraged to volunteer and participate in team, family day, board level and other duties during the season, as required.
